Early years and first steps (2015–2017)
DL!X, a talented DJ and music producer working across EDM, Techno and Minimal, began his career in the energetic clubs and on the stages of the electronic music scene. From 2015 onward, he performed regularly at Halle-Luja, captivating the crowd with hypnotic, driving beats. During this period, he shaped his sound and discovered his passion for Minimal and Techno.

Creative break and musical development (2019–2021)
After several intense years in the club scene, DL!X took a creative break in 2019 to develop his musical direction and produce new tracks. He focused on the finer details of production and incorporated experimental elements into his work. Although only a few releases became public, he continued working intensively on his sound and explored new influences.

Return to the stage and new releases (2022)
With renewed energy, DL!X returned to the stage in 2022, performing at KuBa Kempen and quickly re-establishing himself within the electronic music scene. During this period, he released tracks through recognised labels including Hungry Koala Records, Trippy Cat Records, Apache Recordings and Insomnia Recordings. His return marked a new phase in which he expanded his experimental Techno sound and gained greater international recognition.

Breakthrough and continued development (2023)
In 2023, DL!X reached another milestone. Alongside regular club performances, new releases drew further attention to his work. Tracks on Hungry Koala Records and Trippy Cat Records strengthened his position in the international EDM and Techno scene. His sets combine deep basslines, hypnotic rhythms and innovative sounds that draw the audience into a trance-like state.

Outlook and planned projects (2024)
With a clear focus on innovation, DL!X continues his musical journey with new releases, collaborations and projects for labels such as Trippy Cat Records and Apache Recordings. His live performances are also becoming more complex and visually impressive, taking the club experience to a new level.

Biography

The beginning of my DJ career
At the age of 16, I had my first opportunity to stand behind a mixer at a school party. It was a defining moment. The energy of the music and the euphoria reflected by the dancing crowd fascinated me deeply. This was the beginning of a passion that soon led me to buy my own mixer. From then on, I performed whenever an opportunity arose: birthdays, family celebrations and house parties became my stages. My priority was always to create great music and an exciting atmosphere.

My first DJ controller and Kings Lounge Krefeld
In 2005, I expanded my equipment and invested in my first DJ controller. The new technology opened up a world of possibilities, and I soon found myself behind the decks at Kings Lounge Krefeld. What had begun as a hobby quickly developed into a serious passion. Friends, acquaintances and event organisers discovered my talent and increasingly booked me for events in Krefeld and the surrounding area. One milestone was performing at Halle-Luja alongside the renowned DJs Lissat & Voltaxx – an unforgettable moment in my career.

Developing my skills at Melody Willich
In 2012, I established valuable contacts at Melody Willich, another important venue in my career. Working with fellow DJ André Lissard helped me develop and refine my skills considerably. After Melody reopened following the pandemic, I joined the permanent team as resident DJ. The venue is more than a workplace to me: it is my home base, filled with dedication and an irrepressible passion for celebrating.

New challenges at KuBa Kempen
In 2024, I expanded my activities to KuBa in Kempen. The venue brought a fresh crowd and great energy. Musically, I am a versatile artist with a particular love of House. Whether the beats are groovy, funky or driving, my goal is always for the crowd to feel the music intensely. Music is more than sound to me; it is pure energy that connects people and creates unforgettable moments.

My passion for music
My journey from hobby DJ at school parties to resident DJ in recognised clubs shows that passion and dedication can open doors. Music is not merely a profession for me but a way of life that brings people together and creates special moments. It has shown me that dreams can come true when you pursue them with heart and soul.

Biography

I began performing as a hobby DJ at smaller events more than ten years ago, including private parties and birthdays. I have also played at several weddings and created sets for multigenerational audiences. These performances are always a special challenge because they require a broad musical range.

My love of House Music began with my first visit to PM Club Moers in 2008. Königsburg in Krefeld and other clubs of this kind shaped my musical taste for many years. In 2009, I attended my first festivals – Ruhr in Love and Nature One – and large festival formats have fascinated me ever since. I experienced the boom of the 2010s first-hand, especially at Parookaville, where I have attended every edition from the very beginning, including camping.

I have visited Tomorrowland in Belgium seven times, once with camping, and other major festivals such as EDC and Ultra Music Festival remain on my list.

These experiences continue to shape my musical taste, while my love of House Music has always remained. As Techno gained popularity through social media, the genre expanded far beyond the underground scene and now sometimes reaches 160 BPM. This development allows me to play harder beats for an audience with confidence and enjoyment.

Experience
Club scene since 2008: long-standing experience and knowledge gained throughout the Lower Rhine club scene, including PM Moers and Königsburg Krefeld.

International festival experience
– Tomorrowland, Belgium: seven visits, including camping, providing a deep understanding of international major-event booking and crowd management.
